Jay Windross

Congratulations to the AEBF Rules & Umpiring Director, Jay Windross, for successfully obtaining recognition from the International Referees Organization (IRO) as a qualified referee.

Jay travelled to the UK to hang with all the IRO big wigs and get himself up to speed with the current laws of our game and ultimately passed the test to gain his recognition.

Jay has put an enourmous amount of time and effort into the development of his portfolio over the last few years and the AEBF is extremely confident that our sport is heading in the right direction.

Jay will now meet up with the Australian squad in Ireland next week and be an official referee at the 2025 World Championships.
